In the book The Alchemist and the movie Oh Brother,Where Art Thou? There's similarities and differences .Some similarities are Santiago and Everett are on a journey but the difference is that Santiago goes on his journey alone and Everett has two friends with him .While in their journey Santiago meets an old king and Everett and his friends meet a blind guy on the rail road.Also in their journey Santiago and Everett go through some obstacles but they never give up to go along with their journey.
